New or recontracting Virgin broadband customers who sign up for the firm's 30Mb, 50Mb or 100Mb service will get Spotify Premium for free for the first six months, a saving of nearly £60. A partnership between Spotify and Virgin Media was first announced back in July of this year, but specific details of the partnership were kept under lock and key, until now.

Today both Virgin Media and Spotify have announced their new service that will provide mobile users with free media streaming. Enabling Virgin users to be able to listen to Spotify music without using any of their mobile data allowance.
To mark the occasion Spotify has created a quick video promo which you can view after the jump.

If you now sign-up to Virgin Media’s high-speed fibre optic broadband for any package : 30Mb, 50Mb or 100Mb you will now get Spotify Premium free for 6 months as part of the bundle. If you are an existing Virgin Media customer and sign up for another 12 months contract you will also get 6 months free access to Spotify’s premium package.
